Closed Loop Chemicals

Corrosion protection and freeze protection for closed recirculating systems. Inhibitors and glycol heat transfer fluids for chilled water loops, hot water heating loops, and process cooling circuits.

Closed loops lose very little water, so the chemistry problem is different from an open tower — the concern is corrosion of mixed metallurgy, inhibitor depletion over time, and microbiological growth in stagnant legs. Inhibitor levels should be tested on a schedule rather than assumed.
